We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Life Engagement Coach to join our team at New Perspective Senior Living. As a valued member of our community, you will play a vital role in creating an enriching life experience for our residents.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others by coordinating and executing life engagement activities that promote physical fitness, brain fitness, dining experiences, and social/spiritual enrichment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the creation and execution of activity calendars and personal schedules for assigned neighborhoods.
  • Ensure adequate supplies and working technology are available to residents.
  • Encourage and assist residents in participating in all activities.
  • Set up agendas for evening engagements, present plans to evening caregivers, and follow up to ensure successful execution.
  • Collaborate with the team to manage monthly budgets for food, engagement, and educational activities.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members in a kind and respectful manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, visitors, and vendors.
  • Maintain an attractive home environment that fosters engagement, socialization, and purposeful living.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work in a team environment and make decisions in the best interest of residents.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
