Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Network Engineer to join our team at Stellar Professionals in Colonial Heights, VA.

The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in network design, implementation, and management, with a strong focus on Cisco Routing and Switching, VLAN Management, Network Design, Subnetting, Routing Protocols, and Network Security.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement network architecture and infrastructure
  • Configure and manage network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection, and encryption
  • Monitor and analyze network performance, identifying areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems and applications

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in network engineering and design
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco Routing and Switching, VLAN Management, Network Design, Subnetting, Routing Protocols, and Network Security
  • Experience with network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection, and encryption
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
