Position Overview
Pilot Flying J is in search of a seasoned Retail General Manager to oversee our bustling retail establishments. You will play a crucial role in the formulation and implementation of business strategies for the travel center and restaurant sectors, aimed at achieving set standards, sales targets, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
The Retail General Manager will be responsible for:

  • Meeting and exceeding customer expectations
  • Conducting regular meetings with team members
  • Maintaining productive vendor relationships
  • Building, coaching, managing, and developing teams through effective staffing, interviewing, hiring, and training practices

Additional Duties
As a Retail General Manager, you will also be tasked with:

  • Driving sales performance
  • Managing team dynamics
  • Tracking inventory levels
  • Delivering exceptional customer service
  • Conducting P&L analysis

Compensation
Pay rates start between $38,000 and $55,920.00 per year.

Qualifications
To excel in this role, you must demonstrate integrity and accountability at the managerial level, alongside strong team leadership capabilities. A flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is essential.

Additional Requirements
Successful candidates will possess:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of management experience in retail, restaurant, grocery, or related service industries with financial accountability
  • Proven management skills in high-volume retail environments
  • The ability to foster a customer-centric culture
