Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Develop designs and specifications for fixtures and gauges using SolidWorks, leveraging your expertise in CAD software.
  • Tool and Material Management: Manage tool and material procurement, creating detailed process and tool sheets to ensure efficient production.
  • CNC Programming: Program and edit CNC toolpaths with Esprit CAM software, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in production runs.
  • Machine Setup and Calibration: Set up and calibrate CNC machines for production runs, ensuring optimal performance and quality.
  • Testing and Validation: Test and validate new CNC programs on multi-axis machines, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in production.
Requirements
  • Expertise: Over 10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering with a focus on CNC operations.
  • CAD and CAM Skills: Skilled in CAD (SolidWorks preferred) and CAM programming, with a strong understanding of geometric tolerancing and ASME Y14.5 M-2009.
  • Industry Knowledge: Background in aerospace, firearms, or medical manufacturing is a plus, with a strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.
  • Education: Degree preferred but not essential, with exceptional experience and a strong track record of delivering results.
