Job Summary

Lakeview Center is seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide essential support to individuals receiving mental health services, substance abuse treatment, and co-occurring disorders in various settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish Positive Relationships: Foster a helping relationship with individuals receiving services, promoting trust and understanding.
  • Assist with Daily Living: Help individuals access necessary resources, build functional relationships, and maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Implement Interventions: Carry out specific interventions according to individual treatment plans, ensuring effective support and progress.
  • Monitor Progress: Document and track individual progress, providing valuable insights for treatment teams.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: At least one year of experience working with seriously mentally ill individuals or completion of one year (24 hours) of college classes.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to provide individualized services, and pass organization screening requirements.
