About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team at Lakeview Center. As a key member of our crisis intervention team, you will be responsible for assessing and responding to urgent and crisis behavioral health needs of individuals and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and facilitate individuals and families in obtaining the least restrictive and most effective level of care needed to address and treat/manage their concerns.
  • Collaborate and refer to internal and external continuums of care to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Provide therapeutic services, including assessment, treatment planning, direct service provision, and person-centered services.
  • Manage client risk and safety, ensuring a secure and supportive environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a human services field, such as psychology, social work, or counseling.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in the behavioral health field, with a focus on crisis intervention and therapeutic services.
  • Ability to work with individuals in crisis or substance use, with a strong understanding of co-occurring disorders.
  • Valid driver's license, good driving record, and insurability under the corporate policy.
