Job Description

The Insurance Account Specialist will be responsible for handling incoming calls and mail distribution for the agency. This role involves servicing existing accounts, including payments, changes, and claims submissions.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Answer agency incoming calls and distribute to appropriate staff members
  • Handle agency mail distribution
  • Complete weekly spreadsheet assignments
  • Market to clients through letter correspondence
  • Handle customer calls, including payments, policy changes, and claims submissions
  • Assist the commercial department with renewals, billing, and changes
  • Process cancellation calls
  • Send 90-day letters to commercial customers
  • Log all customer transactions in the management system
  • Maintain records, reports, and files as necessary
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience working in an insurance office and licensure in Property & Casualty required
