Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct spiritual support and counseling to patients and their families.
  • Work with staff and community groups to enhance sensitivity to spiritual concerns.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary conferences to assess spiritual needs and report on services provided.
  • Provide bereavement follow-up services as assigned.
  • Maintain accurate records of visits and interactions.
Requirements
  • Educational background: Graduate of an accredited seminary or school of theology.
  • Certification in pastoral ministry or hospital chaplaincy.
  • Ability to work independently and respond to crisis situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000, depending on experience.
