Radar Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Radar Systems Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a Principal or Senior Principal Radar Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and fielding advanced radar systems for various platforms. Your expertise will be crucial in designing and integrating radar systems, ensuring they meet the required performance and functionality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement system architecture and concept development for radar systems
- Conduct trade studies and requirements development to ensure system performance and functionality
- Design and integrate radar systems, including algorithm development and performance analysis
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to develop and test radar systems
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Mechanical Engineering, with 5-9 years of related experience
- Master's Degree in a relevant field with 3-7 years of experience
- Ph.D. in a relevant field with 2-5 years of experience
- Experience with MATLAB or equivalent programming languages
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
- US Citizenship required
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering
- Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, C++, or equivalent programming languages
- Knowledge of system engineering design methods, including requirements analysis and flow-down
- Experience with performance analysis by simulation, including verification and validation techniques
- Ability to effectively communicate and present complex technical concepts
Northrop Grumman offers a competitive salary range of $102,400 - $153,300, as well as a range of benefits, including health insurance, life and disability insurance, 401(k) savings plan, flexible schedules, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO). Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
