We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to join our team at Franciscan Medical Group. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless patient experience from check-in to check-out.
Key Responsibilities- Register and check patients in/out, ensuring accurate and timely processing of patient information
- Handle and reconcile payments, including co-pays, co-insurance, and prior balances
- Continuously monitor and reconcile issues prior to patient visit, ensuring a smooth and efficient process
- Process referral orders and pre-authorizations, coordinating with patients and insurance carriers as needed
- Coordinate appointments and ancillary services, ensuring timely and effective communication with patients and healthcare providers
- Respond to patient questions regarding routine billing and insurance matters, providing clear and concise information
- Coordinate patient instructional/education activities, ensuring patients receive necessary information and support
- One year of customer service work experience, with two years preferred
- Healthcare or call center experience a plus
