Job Summary:

The Retail Associate is a vital member of the Ross Stores, Inc. team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. As a Retail Associate, you will be the face of our brand, interacting with customers, answering their questions, and providing assistance with merchandise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain a high level of awareness on the sales floor, ensuring a safe and secure shopping environment for customers and colleagues.
• Assist customers with merchandise, answering questions, and providing recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to company standards and best practices.
• Perform daily tasks, including restocking shelves, processing merchandise, and maintaining store displays.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, promote products, and maintain a positive store atmosphere.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers and colleagues in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
• Basic math skills, with the ability to accurately handle cash and process transactions.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move around the store as needed.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
