We are currently seeking a seasoned Project Manager to support our initiatives within the Navy Northeast Health Clinics/Hall, operating under the Defense Health Agency (DHA).

This pivotal role is based at our Annapolis headquarters and focuses on enhancing healthcare facilities that cater to active military personnel, veterans, and their families throughout the Northeast United States, including various locations.

The selected individual will manage multiple simultaneous projects that encompass facility construction, maintenance, repairs, and medical equipment installations, thereby significantly improving healthcare delivery for the military community. This position requires close collaboration with DHA officials, clinic personnel, and various contractors to ensure effective project execution.

Utilizing your project management expertise, proficiency in AutoCAD, and understanding of healthcare facility standards, you will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing vital healthcare infrastructure, ensuring that facilities adhere to the highest quality and efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate renovation and equipment installation projects.
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to advance projects from concept to completion.
  • Apply technical expertise to review designs, validate cost estimates, and uphold quality standards.
  • Simultaneously manage multiple projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Travel to various sites as required.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the construction manager/contracting officer at DHA and clinic personnel.
  • Oversee project data management in Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS).
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience managing medical treatment facility projects.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD for creating or updating files.
  • Ability to track, coordinate, manage, and execute up to six concurrent projects.
  • Experience in drafting scopes of work and preparing basic cost estimates.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe.
  • Facility management experience is preferred.
  • Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain NACI Clearance.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience with Computer Aided Facility Management software, including DMLSS.
  • Familiarity with Infection Control and Joint Commission standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
