Job Overview

As a Construction Intern at Landmark Properties, you will assist Project Managers and Project Superintendents in project planning, buyout, project management, and closeout. This role involves assisting in obtaining, coordinating, and distributing the information and authorizations required to construct the project on time, within budget, and to the company's quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in learning about Landmark processes and procedures as they relate to managing the project.
  • Ensure contractor compliance with Landmark safety and quality management programs.
  • Manage the project budget by controlling expenditures, coordinating billings, and identifying work not covered by subcontractor.
  • Maintain RFI logs and change request logs.

Requirements
  • Seeking a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Building Science, or Architecture preferred.
  • 1+ year of applicable coursework.

Preferred Skills
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet project deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail.
  • Positive and collaborative attitude with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Critical thinker and self-starter capable of accomplishing a task with limited guidance and supervision.
  • Strong computer skills.
