The Windsor-Laurelwood Center for Behavioral Medicine is a 159-bed facility located in beautiful Willoughby, Ohio, offering 24-hour care and serving children, adolescents, and adults with psychiatric, behavioral health, and substance abuse issues. Our multidisciplinary treatment team includes board-certified psychiatrists, psychologists, registered nurses, licensed social workers, case managers, and milieu and activity therapists. We feature a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit for adults, Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization programs, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, cost-effective healthcare.

About the Role

The Chief Nursing Officer is a key member of our Leadership Team, responsible for integrating and coordinating a patient-centric nursing strategy with a hands-on approach and keen focus on patient care. This role ensures that delivery of high-quality healthcare is consistent with our mission, vision, and values, as well as government regulations, licensing, and accreditation requirements.

Requirements
  • Licensure: Current license or permit to practice professional nursing in the state of OH
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing from a CCNE-accredited nursing program; Master of Science in Nursing is strongly preferred
  • At least four years of psychiatric nursing experience, including working on a psychiatric inpatient unit or in an outpatient setting
  • Extensive knowledge of principles and practices relevant to nursing and patient care activities
  • Demonstrated knowledge of effective management and supervisory practices
  • Five or more years of progressive nursing management experience in a behavioral health setting
