Key Responsibilities
  • Direct the daily activities of the Radiology Department
  • Manage budgets and equipment for the department
  • Provide input to the V.P. of Clinical Services on employment and budgetary decisions
  • Perform specialized tasks involving imaging and special procedures
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in reporting
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:

  • A high school diploma or general education degree
  • Graduation from an approved AMA School of Radiology Technology
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a Radiology Department
  • Knowledge and experience in managing PACS, ultrasound, angiographies, nuclear medicine, computerized tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist
Certifications and Licenses

The successful candidate will hold:

  • A current California State License ARRT
  • A CRT License
  • Membership in the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • BLS certification
