We are seeking a dedicated individual for the role of Director of Clinical Services (DCS) to join our esteemed team of hospice care professionals and contribute meaningfully by listening, caring, and serving.

POSITION OVERVIEW: The Director of Clinical Services (DCS) oversees the comprehensive direction of hospice clinical operations. The DCS formulates, executes, and assesses objectives and goals for hospice services that align with and enhance the standards of quality, supporting the overall mission and values of the organization.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Graduate of an accredited associate or bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • State licensed Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Prior experience in hospice or home care settings, with a minimum of two (2) years in management or supervisory roles. Demonstrated ability to function effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
  • Adheres to accepted professional standards and practices.
  • Strong observational skills, sound nursing judgment, and effective communication abilities. Familiarity with hospice philosophy and the complexities surrounding death and dying.
  • Knowledge of pain and symptom management principles.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in educating and training others.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and remain adaptable in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Hospice and/or Home Health Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software is preferred.
