Job Title: Chief Operating Officer

The Jewish Federation of Greater Houston is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Operating Officer to join our team. As a key member of our senior leadership team, the COO will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organization, ensuring the effective management of our resources, and driving business growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures aligned with the organization's strategic objectives.
  • Manage and oversee the development and implementation of the annual operating budget, ensuring sound fiscal accountability and financial stability.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the CEO, Board of Directors, and external partners.
  • Drive business growth and development through strategic planning, market analysis, and partnerships.
  • Ensure the effective management of our resources, including human resources, finance, and technology.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in progressively responsible roles, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership position.
  • Proven track record of success in operations management, financial management, and team leadership.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility.
