Job Title: USA Payroll Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to oversee our payroll operations and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately process semi-monthly payroll for all employees using ADP Workforce Now, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with all payroll regulations and requirements, including tax filings, year-end processing (W-2s), and internal audits.
  • Maintain payroll data integrity by conducting regular audits and reconciliations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external payroll vendors and service providers.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related inquiries, addressing employee concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with People Functions to manage employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision insurance, retirement plans, and other company-sponsored benefits.
  • Identify and implement process efficiencies to streamline payroll operations, leveraging technology and best practices to improve accuracy and timeliness.
  • Actively participate in the implementation of the Workday HCM system, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define payroll requirements, support testing, and ensure an accurate integration into ADP.
  • Manage and maintain payroll systems, including the implementation of software updates, configuration changes, and integrations with other HR and finance systems.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for payroll processing, providing training to team members and other stakeholders on payroll policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records for internal and external audits, ensuring the confidentiality and security of payroll data, maintaining data integrity and accuracy of employee records.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll processing, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of payroll systems, with specific experience using ADP Workforce Now. Experience with Workday HCM is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proven experience in process improvement initiatives, including the implementation of new systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Advanced Excel skills to create and maintain payroll calculations and analysis.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is preferred.
