Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Psychology Intern. As a member of our dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students and contribute to their growth and development.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a student who is currently pursuing a degree in psychology and is eager to gain hands-on experience in the field of behavioral health. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for working with children and adolescents and be committed to providing top-notch therapeutic care.
Responsibilities:
Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for students with learning differences and special needs
Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide direct care and support to students, including therapeutic interventions and daily living skills training
Requirements:
Currently pursuing a degree in psychology or a related field
Previous experience working with children and adolescents with learning differences and special needs preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
