Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Pediatric Feeding Program at Seattle Children's Hospital. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide mental health services to children, adolescents, and families with serious developmental, emotional, and behavioral problems.
Responsibilities- Provide direct care and assume primary responsibility for clinical management of patients referred to the Pediatric Feeding Program.
- Develop and coordinate clinical orientation, continued competency, clinical standard work, and optimal professional development for the clinical team.
- Collaborate with service line director in the hiring process for the Pediatric Feeding Program's interdisciplinary team.
- Represent the Pediatric Feeding Program to the leadership team in the provision of overall direction for the practice of the interdisciplinary team within it.
- Drive continuous performance improvement, quality improvement, and education and research efforts delivered by the Pediatric Feeding Program team.
- Provide supervision to practicum students, psychology and psychiatry residents, and program staff.
- Consult with SCAC, other departments, hospital inpatient units, and BioBehavior Program-Inpatient Psychiatric Unit staff on milieu program development and individual case planning.
- PhD, PsyD, or Ed.D. in psychology, with specialization in child clinical psychology from an APA-accredited training program.
- Completion of an APA-approved internship.
- Formal post-doctoral training in an appropriate area of specialization.
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience post licensure.
- Licensed as a Psychologist in the State of Washington.
- Prior to start of employment, must obtain, and maintain in good standing, medical or allied health professional staff privileges that are not limited, revoked, suspended, conditioned, or probationary.
- Post-doctoral level experience in pediatric psychology.
- Experience in a pediatric medical setting.
- Clinical supervision experience.
- Minority Mental Health Specialist designation.
- Experience with multi-system involved children with severe behavioral problems and/or developmental disabilities.
- Experience with the King County MHP and Washington State Mental Health WACs.
- Experience providing comprehensive intake evaluations with multi-axial diagnoses.
- Experience with evidence-based practice.
- Experience in an inpatient/day treatment setting providing comprehensive assessment and treatment of pediatric feeding disorders.
- Nationally Certified as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst at the Doctoral Level.
This is a 1.0 FTE M-F Day position with a compensation range of $121,573 - $178,783 annual USD. Seattle Children's offers a generous benefit package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, 403(b), life insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more.
