Job Summary

The Asset Protection Agent is a key member of the Goodwill team, responsible for ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures, safeguarding company assets, and advancing the company's mission and objectives. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with store AP standards and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Support loss prevention training initiatives to enhance employee and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with management teams to ensure a safe workplace and communicate hazards.
  • Recover assets and/or make safe apprehensions as necessary.
  • Assist in internal investigations at the direction of the Area Asset Protection Manager.
Requirements
  • 2 years of college education or experience equivalency, with a focus on Criminal Justice or related field.
  • Ability to travel to all stores within Goodwill SEW and work a varied schedule week to week with flexible hours.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Physical/Sensory Demands
  • Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 20 pounds.
  • Moves about to accomplish tasks.
  • Worker is subject to weather conditions (hot, humid, dry, cold etc.).
  • Worker is subject to hazards: proximity to dangerous machinery, moving vehicles, electrical currents, chemicals, or high places.
  • Repetitive use of hands for conducting inspections, assessing security and safety of products, buildings and equipment and computer use.
  • Vision required for assessing sites security and safety and computer work, extensive travel required.
