Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Support Specialist to join our team at PrideStaff - Grand Rapids, MI. As a Sales Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our inside sales team, outside sales team, and customers directly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Sales Opportunities: Build strong relationships with customers, provide technical information and explanations, and prepare quotations to drive sales revenue growth.
  • Closing New Accounts: Respond to customer inquiries, verify and enter information, and close new accounts to expand our customer base.
  • Fulfilling Orders: Transfer orders to fulfillment, create purchase orders, communicate expected delivery dates, and explain stock-outs to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
  • Account Development: Analyze customer buying history, suggest related and new items, and explain technical features to develop and grow customer accounts.
  • Quality Improvement: Follow established standards and recommend improved policies and procedures to maintain and improve quality results.
  • Product Demonstrations: Participate in product demonstrations at customer locations to showcase our products and services.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as necessary to support the team and achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school education or equivalent.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented and well-organized.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service and data entry skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to handle the physical demands of product demos, including loading and unloading materials.
