We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the following position:
Maintenance Mechanic
Shift: 2nd shift (3pm - 11:30pm)
The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for a variety of tasks related to the installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of manufacturing machinery at Reliable.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain complex, high-precision numerical control machine tools.
- Assist in implementing continuous improvement initiatives utilizing TPM/TPR methodologies.
- Rebuild and overhaul components such as gearboxes, tool changers, cylinders, index units, motors, and pumps as necessary.
- Inspect, repair, and replace hydraulic and pneumatic system components including pumps, valves, regulators, cylinders, and lines.
- Troubleshoot and replace electrical devices such as contactors, input/output cards, and solenoids.
- Conduct preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and offline testing of components to ensure operational efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with internal personnel and contractors on the installation of new machinery, as well as on rebuilding and complex repairs.
- Promote a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and reporting any hazardous conditions to supervisors.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficient in CNC, electronic control systems, and machine tool operations.
- Knowledgeable in continuous improvement practices, Lean methodologies, TPM, and TPR.
- Team-oriented with strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
Educational Background
- Associate's Degree in Mechatronics or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of diverse machining and repair experience.
