BASIC FUNCTION:
The Project Management Coordinator is responsible for overseeing projects to ensure that all designated activities align with established objectives. This role entails coordinating and scheduling all facets of assigned projects across various disciplines, including logistics, supply support, finance, maintenance, subcontractors, management, and clients.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Experience (Years):

  • Three (3) to five (5) years of management experience.
  • Two (2) to three (3) years of relevant experience in shipbuilding or a related industry preferred.

Minimum Skills and Abilities:

  • Preferred college degree in business or a related field.
  • Exceptional leadership, motivational, and communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and management abilities.
  • Proficient in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
  • Adept at managing projects involving single/multi-government contracts.
  • Familiarity with ship operations is a plus.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Manage single or multi-government contracts related to Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), procurement, supply support, and maintenance functions.
  • Engage with clients and vendors; collaborate with ILS and/or maintenance teams to create deliverable schedules based on vendor coordination.
  • Ensure timely provision of all vendor-furnished information (VFI) to meet ILS objectives through effective vendor/manufacturer interaction.
  • Collaborate with the Program Support Manager, Acquisition Logistics Manager, and the Logistics Program Management Team to establish a foundation for program tasks and assist the ILS team in comprehending the organization of the project's source data, including VFI, Engineering Design Data, Test Procedures, and other Program Data.
  • Review final estimates and projects with ILS/Technical Support, procurement, supply support, and management.
  • Coordinate with the Technical Data department to ascertain inactive maintenance requirements for equipment ordered or delivered to clients. Identify inactive maintenance functions through technical manual analysis.
  • Communicate with clients to relay inactive maintenance requirements as necessary for each program.
  • Plan and develop methodologies and procedures for program implementation, directing and coordinating program activities while supporting other departmental personnel responsible for specific functions or phases of the program.
  • Ensure that the aims, goals, or objectives for specified programs are achieved in accordance with set priorities, time constraints, and budgetary conditions.
  • Ensure that all project team members comprehend the scope of the project and their individual responsibilities.
  • Maintain communication with management regarding team member responsibilities throughout the various phases of the program cycle.
  • Direct and coordinate activities related to the implementation and achievement of program objectives.
  • Prepare program reports for superiors.
  • Consult with personnel to provide technical guidance and assist in problem resolution.
  • Support the coordination of Human Systems Integration activities between internal and external personnel.
  • Adhere to all Company policies and procedures, including those related to employee safety, environmental policy, ethics policy, and quality system principles.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned or requested by Management.
  • Work overtime as required.
  • Report to work consistently and punctually.
