Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Administrative Assistant to join our team at Layman Distributing, one of the Mid-Atlantic's fastest growing wholesale distributors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining accurate records, and performing various administrative tasks to support the sales team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to grow their career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, orders, and deliveries.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, such as data entry, mailings, and filing.
  • Support the sales team by preparing reports, analyzing data, and identifying trends.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a wholesale distribution environment.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
