Peraton is seeking skilled Configuration Management Specialists to join our team in support of the Special Operations Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC). This role is essential in ensuring the effective management of IT services and infrastructure for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
The Configuration Management Specialists will play a crucial role in the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services provided to USSOCOM and its associated commands. The primary focus will be on maintaining and managing configuration data and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established standards. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Enhancing the Configuration Management Plan and presenting improvements to the Configuration Manager.
- Keeping build documentation current and relevant.
- Regularly updating service and configuration item documentation.
- Managing configuration data entry and maintenance within the CM Database (CMDB).
- Developing and maintaining logical service models of enterprise devices.
- Ensuring compliance with configuration management processes and standards.
- Providing detailed reports in line with USSOCOM policies and directives.
- Implementing infrastructure as code processes for application onboarding and offboarding.
- Monitoring compliance with standards and managing change implementations.
- Conducting Technical Review Board (TRB) and Change Review Board (CRB) meetings.
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a BS/BA, or 3 years with an MS/MA.
- DoD Top Secret clearance or higher.
- ITIL Foundations certification.
- At least one year of experience in a Configuration Manager role within similar programs.
