Job Summary: We are looking for a responsible and alert Unarmed Security Officer to become part of our team. The ideal candidate will be tasked with safeguarding our facilities, staff, and guests. This position requires monitoring and patrolling designated areas, addressing security incidents, and consistently upholding a high standard of vigilance and professionalism.
This role involves night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular patrols of the facility, both inside and outside, to prevent and identify any unauthorized access, vandalism, or suspicious behavior.
- Manage and oversee access points to guarantee that only authorized individuals enter the premises.
- Check identification and parking permits as needed.
- React swiftly to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies.
- Provide assistance as necessary and accurately document all occurrences.
- Maintain a visible and approachable presence for staff and visitors, offering help and information as required.
- Keep thorough and precise records of daily activities, incidents, and any security violations.
- Draft incident reports and submit them to the Security Coordinator.
- Ensure adherence to all company security protocols and procedures.
- Engage in safety drills and training sessions as needed.
- Facilitate effective communication with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure a unified approach to security.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred.
- Strong observational and situational awareness abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capability to remain composed and professional in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended durations.
- Ability to respond promptly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Work may be conducted indoors or outdoors in various weather conditions.
Wednesday-Saturday 6:00pm-6:00am
