ResponsibilitiesThe Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe and effective patient care in the ICU. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides the activities of other nursing personnel and communicates with physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed.
The ideal candidate will have a current and valid state RN license, current BLS certification, and completion of a Critical Care Course. A minimum of one year of experience as a staff RN in an acute care hospital, with critical care experience preferred. Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) are also desirable.
