Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Heritage Health - Idaho. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

Timely rooming of patients, performing vital signs, and verifying medication lists
Preparing exam rooms and patients for procedures, such as minor surgery, physicals, and female exams
Completing paperwork related to office visits, including lab requisitions and pathology forms
Returning patient phone calls promptly and bringing urgent calls to the provider's attention
Documenting critical lab values and test results when received via telephone

Requirements

Completion of a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or relevant work experience and certification as a Registered Medical Assistant
Minimum of one year of prior outpatient medical assistant experience preferred
Successful completion of a nationally accredited Certified Medical Assistant certification program or relevant work experience and national certification or registration as a Medical Assistant
