About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Scheduling Coordinator to join our team at Northside Hospital Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduling functions in a high-volume physician practice
  • Act as a professional liaison for staff, hospital personnel, medical staff, and physicians' offices
  • Require specific knowledge of all clinical service lines for the operating rooms at Northside surgical locations or affiliated Outpatient Surgery Centers
  • Utilize strong customer service and problem-solving skills
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Nursing, or related field
  • Five years of previous medical-related clerical experience
  • Highly developed interpersonal, facilitation, verbal communication, and written communication skills
  • Ability to plan time effectively, balance multiple tasks, and execute projects to completion
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Medical terminology
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or Advanced Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Nursing, or related field
  • Previous experience in hospital/medical office scheduling environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skill in the use of a computerized scheduling system
  • Experience interfacing with physician offices, other organization departments, and third-party payers
Work Hours

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
