We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team at Quality Talent Group. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents and helping them achieve their highest level of physical, mental, and social well-being.
Job Summary:The Physical Therapist will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing physical therapy services in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. This includes assisting in the development and implementation of resident care plans, resident assessments, and discharge planning.
Responsibilities:- Plan, develop, and implement physical therapy services to meet the needs of residents.
- Assist in the development and implementation of resident care plans, resident assessments, and discharge planning.
- Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants as outlined by the State Physical Therapy Practice Act.
- Maintain treatment records, resident files, and progress notes as required.
- Interpret and/or instruct in physical therapy policies and procedures to personnel, residents, family members, etc. as necessary.
- Must possess a current license and registration to practice as a Physical Therapist in the State of NY.
- Must possess current malpractice insurance, license in good standing.
- Dedicated to providing extraordinary compassionate care as a Physical Therapist.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, committed, and passionate about quality care.
- Genuinely interested in helping ill, injured, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and sometimes challenging residents.
- Patience, a cheerful disposition, and willingness to assist any residents and co-workers.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills.
- Trusted to work independently and in a team environment.
- Able to work well under pressure, flexible, and will work harmoniously with all staff.
