Morgan Truck Body LLC, a leading manufacturer of truck bodies in North America, is seeking an experienced Production Associate/Assembler to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and assembling various components, including truck bodies, while ensuring high-quality standards and adhering to safety protocols. The position operates on the 2nd shift, with additional compensation of $2 per hour.

To excel in this role, you must have at least 6 years of manufacturing experience and a strong background in assembly line operations. Proficiency in basic math, tape measurement, and computer skills is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reading and interpreting orders, specifications, blueprints, instructions, and labels
  • Cutting wood or metals to precise sizes using various saws, shears, and cutters
  • Fastening parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or fasteners
  • Operating pneumatic tools and hand tools
  • Performing setup and preventative maintenance as needed
  • Inspecting finished projects for quality and defects
  • Conducting safety and quality checks

Requirements:

  • At least 6 years of previous experience in manufacturing
  • Basic math, tape measurement, and computer skills
  • Strong knowledge of hand and power tools
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Previous experience working on truck bodies (preferred)
