Job Summary

The Practice Architect 2 role is a leadership position within the organization, responsible for overseeing multiple consulting and delivery projects as well as account teams/programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Oversight: Provide consulting and delivery assurance for clients through various internal and external functions across Consulting, Account Interaction, Service Delivery, and Practice Delivery areas.
  • Resource Management: Manage consulting/delivery projects within a specific subject matter area, encompassing resource management, project planning, contract compliance, customer interaction, and other essential aspects of solution-based managed services.
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to refine the solution design, manage expectations, and address project issues promptly.
  • Communication and Costing: Ensure clear communication and costing information consolidation across project stakeholders.
  • Issue Resolution: Address delivery escalation procedures and facilitate issue resolution.
  • Knowledge Management: Implement knowledge management strategies and oversee knowledge transfer processes.
  • Delivery Risk Management: Manage delivery risk, issue resolution, and change control processes.
  • Project Analysis: Conduct project/program analysis, product line reviews, and establish customer relationships.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, with 5+ years of experience in information technology or professional services, emphasizing Project Management Office (PMO) structure.
  • Experience: 7+ years of hands-on project and program management experience, preferably within a professional services environment.
  • Certifications: Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Skills: Proficiency in project management and Agile methodologies, previous experience as a Consultant, Architect, or Business Analyst in an IT setting, ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment, excellent communication skills in English, people management and leadership abilities.
