Funds Ratings Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director to join our Funds Ratings team in New York. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the credit ratings process and research efforts for various debt transactions involving investment funds and other related vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the credit ratings process and research efforts for debt transactions involving investment funds and other related vehicles.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of credit risk assessment and credit rating methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement credit rating tools and models.
- Conduct on-site diligence meetings with fund management teams to assess their investment expertise, risk management skills, and operational processes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including fund managers, investors, and other industry professionals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments to ensure the accuracy and relevance of credit ratings.
- Advanced degree in a relevant field, such as finance, economics, or business.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in credit analysis, with a focus on fund finance, investing, or structured finance.
- Strong knowledge of credit risk assessment and credit rating methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
- A competitive salary range of $100,000 to $150,000.
