CSL Plasma is seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our team. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a vital role in the collection of plasma from donors, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities- Perform venipuncture and monitor the pheresis process to ensure efficient and effective plasma collection.
- Conduct health screenings and evaluate vein performance to identify potential issues.
- Ensure accurate recording of donor data and maintain confidentiality of all personnel, donor, and center information.
- Collaborate with the Group Leader or Supervisor to address donor flow issues and maintain a clean and efficient work environment.
- Perform routine audits and maintain compliance with Health Safety & Environmental (HSE) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) policies.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 18 months experience in a medical or healthcare environment preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
- Occasional exposure to hazardous chemicals, extreme temperatures, and blood-borne pathogens.
