Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing administrative support to the Revenue Team, focusing on claim appeals and denials. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills and be able to operate computer systems with ease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and distribute incoming payer correspondence related to appeals and denials.
  • Document and record client correspondence batches for distribution to third-party vendors.
  • Verify payor appeal requirements and obtain necessary documentation from clients, patients, and system resources.
  • Coordinate and distribute medical records requests from insurance payors, adhering to regulatory and compliance guidelines.
  • Scan, fax, mail, and email documents as needed to support Revenue Specialists' workflow.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of Clerical experience.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Ability to operate computer and 10-key calculator.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a Medical Billing environment.
  • ICD-10 Coding knowledge/experience.
