Overview

The Director of Leasing plays a crucial role in identifying and securing prospective retail tenants for specialty and grocery-anchored centers in the Southwest Florida region. This position is accountable to the Managing Directors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough research and assessment of potential tenants considering credit implications, tenant composition, and return on investment.
  • Analyze leasing scenarios and propose alternative strategies.
  • Facilitate lease negotiations for both inline and standalone locations within existing and upcoming developments.
  • Identify and qualify national and regional tenants through proactive outreach and networking.
  • Gather financial data and perform comprehensive due diligence on prospective tenants.
  • Collaborate with the internal construction team to coordinate new buildouts.
  • Revise and enhance marketing materials related to new leasing opportunities.
  • Align with corporate strategies in the development of retail properties.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial real estate, specifically within the retail sector.
  • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and excellent communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong customer service skills and interpersonal effectiveness.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
