Job Summary and Qualifications

An Interventional Radiology Technologist assists physicians in conducting diagnostic special procedures and endovascular interventions.

Our experienced team is dedicated to delivering an exceptional level of coordinated care throughout the treatment process for all patients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate x-ray machinery, process imaging, and prepare examination rooms and medications as necessary.

- Prepare patients for radiographic procedures by explaining the process, transferring them to the examination table, positioning them appropriately, and assisting them post-procedure.

- Proficiently manage the PACS and Computed Radiography systems.
- Conduct Point of Care Testing for Urine HCG and Creatinine and calculate GFR.

- Complete daily billing tasks, including reconciling the order exams list, Hospital Billing List, and the Final Day Sheet.


Qualifications:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification.
- State Registered Radiologic Technician certification.
- Cardiovascular Technologist (CV Tech), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, or Certified Vascular Interventional Radiology certification.
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree.
