**Key Responsibilities**

• Oversee all strategic planning and procedures related to operations within assigned channel(s)

• Manage staff by communicating and directing job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job performance; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; and initiating, coordinating, and enforcing policies and procedures

• Recruit, select, orientate, and train employees; evaluate and address staff productivity and performance; and develop personal growth opportunities for team members

• Proactively identify areas of operational risk and work with managers and other business leaders to implement processes and controls to mitigate issues

• Oversee policies and procedures for assigned areas and implement industry best practices

• Analyze staff productivity and outputs to ensure metrics appropriately drive and measure staff performance, identify trends, and implement changes

• Create goals and plans for assigned functions to ensure teams are working towards reaching optimal production within desired deadlines

• Partner with executive management to define FGMC's long-term operational strategies and goals within assigned channel(s) and implement methods and processes to achieve goals

• Collaborate with other departments and leaders to ensure alignment and achievement of Company goals

• Maintain knowledge of mortgage lending guidelines and regulations, as well as industry trends and best practices

• Attend industry conferences and events and build relationships with industry leaders to strengthen the FGMC brand and maintain an ongoing awareness nationwide of our culture, products, and other offerings

• Maintain ability to travel as needed

**Requirements**

• High school diploma or GED

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience

• 12+ years of related mortgage-industry experience within desired channel(s)

• 5+ years of management-level experience across various functional areas

• NMLS license or ability to obtain license within 90 days of employment (if within Retail channel)

• Broad-based knowledge of the mortgage industry, including highly advanced knowledge of mortgage lending guidelines and regulations (RESPA, REG B, HMDA, FHA, VA, Conventional, and other products offered)
