**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as Vice President of Property Operations at Veridian Homes. In this role, you will oversee the operational and financial performance of our residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the property management team, ensuring the successful execution of day-to-day operations.
  • Manage all residential and commercial property operations, overseeing leasing strategies, maintenance programs, and capital improvement initiatives to ensure optimal performance and tenant and owner satisfaction.
  • Supervise homeowner and condo association operations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and efficient administration of community engagement.
  • Oversee the financial performance of Veridian Homes and residential and commercial properties, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense management.
  • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and other key stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact for property-related inquiries and issues.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation throughout the organization and across all managed properties.
  • Collaborate and mentor team members to achieve company objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or bachelor's degree in real estate, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years in a leadership role in the property management field with a demonstrated track record of success in overseeing residential and commercial portfolios.
  • Superior knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including finance, customer service, and employee management.
  • Ability to plan, streamline, and implement new operational structures and roles that create speed, efficiency, and support rapidly shifting business demands.
  • Strong knowledge of property management and tenant/landlord practices, laws, rules, and regulations. Good command of leasing and marketing practices.
  • Ability to analyze, evaluate, and act on issues and/or problems, reach sound conclusions, and take appropriate action.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with the proven ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Proficiency in property management software and financial analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of local real estate laws, regulations, and market dynamics.
  • A valid WI Real Estate Broker's license, in good standing, or willing to obtain it.
  • A valid driver's license, in good standing.
