Role Summary

We are seeking a personable and dedicated individual who upholds high standards and enjoys crafting unforgettable experiences while delivering outstanding guest service. The Hospitality Services team is responsible for Front Desk operations, recreational activities, and organizing daily events for our visitors. Ideal candidates will have previous experience in guest relations, Front Desk operations, reservations, problem-solving, and guest recovery. They should have a track record of excellence in their prior roles and be enthusiastic about enhancing the guest experience at our resort. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver respectful, compassionate, and exceptional service to our guests.
  • Demonstrate excellent written, verbal, and computer skills.
  • Assist guests with inquiries and resolve complaints effectively.
  • Manage check-ins and check-outs, including issuing room keys for lost or locked-out guests.
  • Provide guests with information about local recreational activities, including guided excursions.
  • Engage in leading daily activities such as crafts and trivia.
  • Adhere to housekeeping policies and procedures.
  • Exhibit guest recovery skills.
  • Post charges to the Property Management System.
  • Handle lost and found items according to established guidelines.
  • Complete departmental and shift checklists and reports as required.
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Work safely to prevent injuries and accidents, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Report unsafe conditions and maintenance issues immediately by submitting maintenance requests.
Required Skills and Competencies
  • Previous experience in front desk operations or similar roles.
  • Familiarity with Property Management Systems.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and achieve objectives without supervision.
  • Consistent attendance is essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interact positively with colleagues, supervisors, and guests in person.
  • Passionate about fostering a warm, family-like atmosphere for guests and staff while maintaining high standards.
  • Demonstrate integrity and professionalism.
  • Guest service-oriented and focused on staff well-being.
  • Mature, personable, and relaxed demeanor.
  • Commitment to a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
  • Work environment includes both indoor and outdoor settings in varying weather conditions.
  • Frequent walking, twisting, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, sitting, and climbing stairs.
  • Ability to stand and move continuously throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds maximum.
  • Occasional twisting, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, sitting, and climbing stairs.
  • Willingness to work overnight and possibly other shifts as needed.
Additional Information
  • Full-time position available immediately.
  • Room and board available for a fixed weekly cost.
  • Regular schedule with specific days off to be established.
