Role Summary

First Light Resorts LLC is seeking a dedicated Spa Reception Coordinator to foster a warm, professional, and pristine atmosphere for our clientele. The ideal candidate possesses a strong enthusiasm for wellness and radiates a friendly and uplifting demeanor within the Wellness Spa team. The Spa Reception Coordinator interacts with guests and staff throughout their shifts, necessitating the ability to provide guidance alongside attentive and compassionate guest service. Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, detailing treatments, checking in guests, processing payments, ordering and serving refreshments, conducting spa tours, and assisting guests with retail selections. Additionally, the Spa Reception Coordinator shares the responsibility for the upkeep and cleanliness of the spa, which involves communicating requirements with supervisors or relevant departments. A crucial aspect of this role is to engage with guests, enhancing their experience through outstanding hospitality and motivating them to continue their wellness journey beyond their visit.

  • Deliver exceptional, caring hospitality directly to guests.
  • Maintain a safe environment and supervise others to prevent injuries, including the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Assist with guest check-ins for spa services.
  • Process payments for spa treatments.
  • Gather feedback from guests to assess and enhance their experience.
  • Oversee and manage guest scheduling to optimize usage and accommodations.
  • Assist with answering phones and scheduling appointments.
  • Review and respond to guest emails and correspondence.
  • Develop knowledge of services and products offered.
  • Promote spa services and retail items.
  • Support ongoing cleaning tasks, including:
    • Removing slip hazards in wet areas.
    • Cleaning restrooms and guest spaces.
    • Vacuuming or sweeping carpets.
    • Restocking paper products and towels.
    • Emptying trash bins and laundry receptacles.
    • Cleaning lockers and maintaining tidy storage areas.
  • Address unsafe conditions and maintenance issues promptly by contacting appropriate personnel or submitting service requests.
  • Move quietly through treatment areas, including hallways and wet rooms.
  • Support interns in the Internship Program to ensure their success.
  • Maintain professionalism in language and demeanor at all times.
  • Attend required meetings for Spa Reception Coordinators and Wellness Spa staff.
  • Assist with additional lodge needs as they arise.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work environment includes both indoor and outdoor settings with varying temperatures and conditions.
  • Frequent physical activities such as walking, bending, and lifting.
  • Ability to stand and move continuously throughout shifts.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Engagement in cleaning tasks, including vacuuming and restroom maintenance.
  • Working with required cleaning chemicals.
  • Shifts may extend up to 8 hours, with potential for overtime.
