Job Summary

APluscare LLC is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Residential Program Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our residential programs, ensuring the well-being and safety of our clients, and providing exceptional support services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and lead IDT meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Directly supervise and train Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
  • Develop and monitor staff schedules, including finding coverage for shifts and ensuring adequate staffing levels.
  • Conduct monthly fire evacuation drills and maintain accurate records in the fire safety log.
  • Maintain and meet all DDD licensure requirements for assigned programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Provide training, support, transportation, and assistance to clients to enable them to complete daily routines safely and effectively.
  • Monitor the well-being of clients and report any concerns or issues to management.
  • Schedule doctor appointments and ensure clients receive necessary medical care.
  • Ensure program vehicles are safe and well-maintained, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Assume responsibility for implementing all program documentation, including accurate and timely record-keeping.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure the smooth operation of the program.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Care Administration, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Ability to cooperate with the licensee and department staff in any inspection or investigation.
  • Successful completion and demonstration of proficiency in all areas of required training.
  • Valid NJ Driver's License.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs.
