Position Overview
Insight Global is looking for a dedicated Export Compliance Coordinator to join a Federal Client in the Dayton, OH area. This role is pivotal in ensuring adherence to export regulations and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the organization's Research Ethics program, including training initiatives and monitoring compliance hotlines.
- Administer the export control compliance program, which involves reviewing contracts and proposals to identify export control requirements and promoting awareness through training and policy formulation.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations, including ITAR and EAR, by staying updated on relevant rule changes.
- Facilitate conflict of interest disclosures and assist in developing management plans for UDRI personnel.
- Design and deliver training sessions on research compliance.
- Provide expert guidance on compliance and ethical matters related to sponsored research.
- Collaborate with leadership and administrative bodies to ensure alignment with government regulations and institutional policies.
- Support independent investigations and audits in conjunction with legal and compliance divisions.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree or higher is required.
- Minimum of eight years of experience with U.S. export control laws and regulations.
- Proven experience in evaluating legal agreements and identifying potential risks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree.
- Ten years of relevant experience in export compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and OFAC regulations.
