Position Overview:
We are in search of a proactive Estate Planning Attorney to deliver specialized counsel on estate planning issues. This permanent role involves engaging with a varied clientele and offers significant opportunities for professional advancement in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting and revising estate planning instruments including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
- Advising clients on strategies for wealth preservation, tax considerations, and succession planning.
- Addressing intricate legal challenges associated with estate planning.
- Partnering with financial and tax advisors to formulate effective planning strategies.
- Keeping abreast of changes in estate planning, trust legislation, and tax regulations.
- Fostering strong relationships with clients.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution.
- Active license to practice law in Virginia.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in estate planning.
- Understanding of property law and its relevance to estate planning.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
