Inventory Control Specialist

Penske Logistics is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to join our team. As an Inventory Control Clerk, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of our inventory system and maintaining a safe and efficient warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure system count matches physical inventory and resolve discrepancies at location and pallet level.
- Ensure proper rotation of product and analyze reports to identify rotation issues.
- Accurately receive inventory and work with checkers to ensure accurate receipt of inventory.
- Data setup and validation: accurately input required data elements into WMS and various other applications.
- Manage unsalable inventory to resolution and accurately document information on product recalls.
- Ensure appropriate signage accurately located in distribution center.
- Process analysis and documentation: work with inventory management to document and train inventory procedures to warehouse operations.
- Assist with daily and weekly reports and assist in development and implementation of special projects and tasks.
- Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules.
- Read, write, understand and speak English.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks independently with precise detail and follow-up reporting.
- Must have knowledge of computers and ability to learn WMS and various internal applications.
- Must use handheld computers / scanners and operate various material handling equipment.
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
