Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Doctoral Degree: Hold a PhD in a liberal arts and sciences discipline, with a strong background in teaching and scholarship.
  • Leadership Experience: Possess relevant leadership experience in education, preferably in both secondary and postsecondary settings.
  • Teaching and Administrative Experience: Have a strong track record of teaching and administrative experience, with a focus on academic leadership and student success.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including students, faculty, staff, and community partners.
  • Administrator Certification: Hold administrator certification, as required by the New York City Department of Education.
