Requirements

  • Education
    • Currently pursuing a BA/BS degree in a related field, such as hospitality, business, or media production.
  • Experience
    • 0-6 months of experience in a related field, such as audiovisual support or customer service.
  • Skills
    • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of audiovisual systems and technologies.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.

Work Environment

The Event Technology Intern will work in a hotel/convention center environment, with moderate exposure to outdoor temperatures and to dirt, sand, and/or dust. The working conditions will vary between moderately quiet to noisy volumes. Team members will use high-end audiovisual equipment and electrical components, and will be exposed to heights via lifts and ladders. Team members may be asked to work in multiple hotel locations. Working times will include irregular hours and on-call status, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
