As a Lead Floor Technician, your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, ensuring the pristine condition of various floor types within medical office buildings, surgical centers, and professional sports training facilities. You will be responsible for:
- Performing thorough cleaning procedures on offices, hallways, common areas, and other designated spaces.
- Moving furniture efficiently before and after cleaning operations to ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Mastering various floor care techniques, including carpet cleaning (bonnet and extraction), mopping, scrubbing, stripping, and finishing.
- Demonstrating precision in measuring chemicals and operating chemical dispensing units.
- Maintaining accurate labeling of all chemicals for safety and organization.
- Ensuring the cleanliness, maintenance, and proper storage of all equipment.
- Developing and implementing efficient cleaning schedules for various floor areas.
- Promptly reporting any maintenance issues to your supervisor.
To excel in this role, you should possess a strong work ethic, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to diverse client needs. Excellent communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with colleagues and clients alike.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in floor maintenance is highly desirable.
- Successful completion of a drug test.
- Willingness to undergo on-the-job training.
- Physical agility and stamina to perform the required tasks.
- Strong communication skills for clear and concise interactions.
