Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior R&D Chemist to join our state-of-the-art R&D center in West Chicago, IL. As a key member of our digital ink division, you will be responsible for developing new inkjet technologies, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical support to manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot issues with existing technologies and customer challenges
  • Develop new inkjet technologies based on customer needs
  • Evaluate raw materials and optimize formulations for cost-savings opportunities
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing
  • Publish project reports and other documents directly to sales and customers
  • Maintain laboratory equipment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of inkjet ink formulation experience; 10 years preferred
  • Knowledge of inkjet printing processes
  • Strong Math and Science skills
  • Proficient with record-keeping
  • Good and effective written, reading comprehension, and verbal skills
  • Ability to interpret data and draw effective conclusions

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP experience
  • Knowledge and experience with UV curing processes and formulations
